In Judaism, visiting the sick, or bikkur cholim, isn’t just a nice thing to do; it is a mitzvah, an obligation that falls on each member of the community. At Beth El, we take this obligation seriously. We have a new team of dedicated volunteers who visit and call home-bound seniors, make trips to the hospital, drop off care packages, meet people for coffee, and provide meals to families and congregants in need. If you are interested in getting more involved in this initiative please email Rabbi Sitkin at zsitkin@bethelnr.org
