Home
Beth El Synagogue Center is a large, multi-generational, egalitarian congregation, located in New Rochelle, New York (where Quaker Ridge Road meets North Avenue), and affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. We thrive on activity. Our energetic members and guests of every age come to Beth El for spirituality, learning, socialization and recreation.
Whatever brings you to Beth El (our congregation, religious school, nursery school day camp, and/or events), you will see that we pour our enthusiasm and our love for each other into all we do. Once here, you will find more than you expected - and you will feel very much at home!

Who We Are
We are an active, thriving community that provides a wide range of religious, educational, social and community activities for all ages, allowing us to engage our Jewish heritage and explore all aspects of Jewish life.
Being involved is a wonderful and rewarding experience. We offer many ways for you to become active members–through our family programs and events; our award-winning Nursery and Religious Schools; our Sisterhood and Men’s Club; and a range of religious services.
Our Services
We strive to create a welcoming and interactive prayer environment with space for congregational singing, learning and personal reflection. The Main Service meets in the Sanctuary every Shabbat morning from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Davening is led by Cantor Schvartz, and Torah discussions and sermons are delivered by Rabbi Schuck, Rabbi Sitkin, and Rabbi Fisher.

Daily Minyan
Beth El maintains morning and evening services every day of the year. Traditional in tempo and cadence, permeated with warmth and caring, Beth El’s daily prayer service offers a valuable respite from the worries and pressures of the world. It also can provide time for self-reflection. Even if you have never worn a tallit or tefillin (prayer shawl or prayer boxes), or you are unfamiliar with the prayers, we will help you feel at ease. Give yourself a gift and join us. It is time well spent.
