We are pleased that we have had overwhelming compliance with our policy requiring everyone eligible for a vaccine to upload proof or show proof of full vaccination (one shot for children 5 through 11) at the door before entering Beth El, for non-school related activities.
Our medical task force has now recommended that we redefine “full vaccination” as including a booster shot for those who are eligible, and our lay leadership has endorsed this recommendation. (See this CDC fact sheet explaining who is currently eligible). Therefore, as of February 15, in order to enter Beth El, for non-school related activities, proof of booster shots must have been uploaded or must be shown at the door for entry. As two weeks must pass from the date of the booster before it is considered fully effective, please plan to receive your booster shot by the end of the month. If you have already uploaded a card showing that you received the booster, you need not do anything else. If you need to re-upload your card, please do so HERE. If you anticipate any difficulties in being able to comply with this policy, please contact the front office.
Thank you as always for helping to keep our community safe.
