YOUTH SERVICES

April was a great month. We saw the return of the Family Havurah Service, the opening of Shabbat S.P.A.C.E., and special services for Pesach. The month of May will be even more exciting!!

Youth Service Leaders Sought

Beth El is looking for year-round and/or summer weekly youth service leaders that will be responsible for services, geared towards children from Pre-K (Torah for Tots), K-2nd (Mini Minyan), and 3rd-6th (Junior Congregation) grades. A curriculum will be provided as an outline. The right candidate will bring his or her own creativity and strengths to the program. Our leaders are expected to create a welcoming, exciting and engaging environment. Services take place from 10:30 am-11:45 am. At that time, youth service leaders are asked to bring the children into the main sanctuary, where they will be welcomed onto the bimah to take part in the closing blessings. Kiddush lunch follows services and leaders are welcome to join our families. Our youth service leaders will need to be available for three Shabbatot a month and are highly encouraged to work holiday services as well.
