Fulfill an important mitzvah of Purim—Matanot LaEvyonim. Help those whose needs are greater then our own by contributing portions of funds raised to support two worthwhile charities: Masorti (the Conservative Movement in Israel) and MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger. This continues to be the largest fundraiser of the Beth El Youth Community, and we count on you for your support! Visit www.purimproject.com to make your selections. You will need your user name and password that have been mailed to you (snail mail). Our campaign allows for the option for reciprocity, $180 cap, on all selections to Beth El Members and the ability to send greeting cards to friends and family outside of the Beth El Community.

How does this work? 

A donation will be made in honor of individuals you choose and they will receive a beautiful card notifying them of your generous contribution.

How can I participate?

1.       Visit www.purimproject.com and log in with your username and password (mailed to you). Contact  Jen Vegh @ jvegh@bethelnr.org  or 914-235-2700, ext. 247 if you need a reminder.

2.       Choose the families and members of the staff whom you would like to recognize at Purim.

3.       A donation will be made in honor of those families and staff chosen, and they will receive a card notifying them of your generous contribution in their honor.

4.       “Reciprocity” is available. If you choose this option, anyone who selects to make a donation in your honor, who you did not include in your initial selection, will receive a donation in their honor from you at $3 per. (For example, if five people have made a donation in your honor and you had not already included them on your list, by selecting reciprocity, you will be billed an additional $15 and these five people will receive a donation in their honor from you.)

5.       There is a $180 cap on all orders placed (excluding cards sent to members outside the Beth El Community). Click on as many names as you would like and your order will be no more than $180.

6.       All orders must be placed by  February 27th. After this, no orders will be accepted and you will not be able to access the website.
