Observed on Saturday evening, February 27th
and Sunday, February 28th

The joyous festival of Purim celebrates the triumph of our people in the days of Mordecai and Esther over the evil devices of Haman and his cohorts. The holiday will be observed on Saturday evening, February 27th, and Sunday, March 28th. Purim for Tots, an age-appropriate program for children 3 – 8 years of age and their families will be held at 6:30 pm on Saturday evening (see below). Come in costume.

The traditional reading of the Megillah will be held at 7:00 pm, and it will be read by teenagers of the Beth El community. Everyone is invited to dress in costume. Light refreshments will follow the service.

The Megillah will be read again at the morning service on Sunday, February 28th. Services begin at 8:00 am in the Goldberger Chapel, and the Megillah will be read at 8:30 am.
